Dr. Delbert "Del" Larson serves as PBL's Executive Vice President. Del had a career as an accelerator physicist from the mid 1980's through the early 2000's, serving as an adjunct assistant professor at UCLA and having research positions at the Center for Research into Electron Optics and Lasers at the University of Central Florida, the Superconducting Super Collider. Del was also the lead accelerator physicist on Fermilab's successful PET accelerator. Since 2001, Del undertook an IT career which granted him the freedom to work his off hours on colliding beam fusion, the quantum luminiferous aether and an understanding of quantum mechanics. Del, along with Jim Kolonko, founded Particle Beam Lasers in 1984, serving as Vice President and Treasurer.
